SRMJEEE 2015, formerly known as SRMEEE, is
a Joint Engineering Entrance Examination for providing admissions to the
undergraduate engineering courses across four campuses(Kattankulathur,
Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Delhi – NCR) of the SRM University.

All Questions are multiple choice questions with four options,
only one being correct.
Each correct answer fetches 3 marks while incorrect answer fetches
1 mark. (Negative marking)
Note: The computer based
exam will be conducted over two to three days depending upon the number of
applicants while the Paper based test will be conducted on the same day across
the country.
A total of 1,63,678 students registered for the SRMJEE
2014 exam, who competed for around 7,000 seats across its four campuses-
Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Ramapuram Part II – Vadapalani and NCR Ghaziabad.

for B.Arch Exam:

Aesthetic Sensitivity – 50 marks 30 Minutes
Test – II Drawing – 100 marks 2 hours

This exam will be held on last week of April or
first week of May.
Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission into any Engineering or
Architecture undergraduate courses (B. Tech & B. Arch) offered by SRM
University, must appear for the entrance test and satisfy the following
qualification criteria.
For B. Tech course:
- Students must be Indian nationals and residents who have completed their schooling in India
- For the B. Tech course from SRM University the candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with an aggregate of 70% marks with Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics (PCM) and for Biotechnology, Biomedical and Genetic Engineering candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with an aggregate of 70% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and biology (PCB).
- Candidates who have attempted Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 10+2 or its equivalent with an aggregate of 70% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and biology (PCB) in the SRM EEE are eligible only for Biotechnology, Biomedical and Genetic Engineering
For B.Arch. Courses:
- Candidates must be Indian nationals and residents who have completed their schooling in India.
- Admission to B.Arch. programme, in SRM university, is based on the aggregate of marks secured in the qualifying examination and in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
- Admission is offered purely on the basis of the merit list; equal weightage is also given to aggregate of marks secured in qualifying examination and to NATA score.
- A student pass in (10+2) or its equivalent having a minimum total aggregate of 70% with English and Mathematics as subjects of study and a minimum score of 40% in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
Application Fees
- Candidates
can obtain the SRMJEEE application form from any of the following sources
upon payment of 900/-. Selected branches of Axis Bank, City Union
Bank, Indian Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, State Bank of India and post offices
as given in SRM University Website www.srmuniv.ac.in.
- Candidates can also obtain the SRM EEE application form from the Director, Admissions by sending a DD of 900/- drawn in favour of “SRMIST”, payable at Chennai, with a covering letter mentioning clearly the complete postal address. Candidate should write their name and address on the reverse of the DD.
Application Process
The SRMJEEE is an entrance exam conducted by SRM
University. Candidates who seek admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)
programmes must appear for the SRMEEE. The application forms are issued from
November of the previous year onwards. There are three modes of registration.

Syllabus for SRMJEEE:
The syllabus covers the
entire topic from class eleven and twelve. Students needed to study the
recommended test of the above subject for attempting the exam.
Preparation Tips:
- Candidates can prepare for the exam by self-study or joining a coaching centre. One has to study very carefully all the papers and have to do a number of revision in each subjects. Each and every subject must be given equal priority. Each chapter should be known to the candidate in details so that not a single important point is left out.

- The SRMJEEE 2015 Cutoff is a pre-determined score used by SRM University for the purpose of admissions since the number of applicants is considerably larger than the seats available.
- The SRMJEEE 2015 Cutoff will be based on factors like the expected intake per branch of the university, previous year's cutoff, difficulty levels of the exam, as well as the number of applicants.

Counseling Procedure
The eligible candidates, chosen on the basis of rank, would
be called for counseling for final admission. The physical presence of the
candidate during the counseling is mandatory.
Counseling Procedure for Allocation of Seats/Branch
- The date / time for counseling will be published in our university website. Candidates can download and take a printout of their counseling letter and counseling record from our website and appear for the counseling as per the counseling schedule.
- Change of date/time of counseling is generally not permissible. If a candidate does not personally appear before the Admission Committee for counseling/Interview on the date and time specified, his/her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
- The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "SRMIST", payable at Chennai, on confirmation of the seat, and acceptance of the branch allotted.
- A candidate should decide for certain on whether he/she should join the program based on the branch allotted to him/her at the time of counseling before the payment of the fee. Allotment of branch once made is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances. Upon allotment, the candidate has to submit all the original documents and also pay the full tuition fee for first year.
